Privacy policy
How Fablehouse Talent collects and uses personal data, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

What we collect
When you email us or use a form
Our forms don’t send data to a third-party form service. They open your own email app with your details filled in. When you send that email, we receive what you chose to include: usually your name, email address, company and the details of your enquiry.
When you visit the site
Our web server automatically records standard technical logs: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and referring page. We use these only to keep the site secure and working. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Replying to enquiries and preparing quotes: legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- Delivering work for clients: performance of a contract.
- Server logs and security: legitimate interests in keeping the site secure.
- Legal and accounting records: legal obligation.
We will only send marketing emails if you have asked for them or, for business contacts, where the law allows and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
- Email hosting: Google Workspace (Google), which processes our email on our behalf.
- Website hosting: our server provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, which hosts the site in the EU.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law.
We don’t sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become work: up to [X months].
- Client records: six years after the end of the contract, for tax and legal reasons.
- Server logs: up to [X days].
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to move it to another provider. Email hello@fablehousetalent.com. We’ll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to fix things first.
Changes
We’ll update this page if anything changes, and change the date at the top.
